Al-Ansar University Maiduguri (AUM) is located in Maiduguri, Borno State of Nigeria. It is an off-shoot of Al-Ansar Foundation, a Non-Governmental and Non-Profit making Foundation established with a specific focus on assisting indigent citizens gain

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION
1. Candidate for any of the positions must possess a good First Degree in respective field of study from recognized University.
2. Candidate for Lecturer II must have a
Doctorate Degree in the respective field and been an Assistant Lecturer for a minimum of two years.
3. Candidate for Lecturer 1 must have a
Doctorate Degree in the respective field and been Lecturer II with three (3) years post-doctoral qualification in university.
4. Candidate for Senior Lecturer must have five (5) years post-doctoral qualification or been a Lecturer 1 for a minimum period of three (3) years in a University or comparable institution of higher learning and must demonstrate ability to provide academic leadership.
5. Candidate for Associate Professor must
have not less than eight (8) years of teaching and research experience since becoming lecturer II in a university and must have been externally assessed and Promoted to Associate Professor by an recognized University.
6. Candidate for the post of Professor must not have less than ten (10) years of teaching and research experience since becoming lecturer II in a university.
7. Candidates for all positions must have proof of continuing research with appreciable evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals published locally and internationally.
8. Candidates must have the ability to teach courses at the undergraduate level with evidence of practical skills and competence and;
9. Candidate must be computer literate.

3. Candidate for managerial positions must be a registered member of a
professional body.
