Benue SUBEB Teachers Recruitment Examination 2022 – The Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has announced Wednesday, 21st, December 2022 as date set aside for examination exercise for all those who applied for teaching job with the Board and their names have been shortlisted.
Executive Chairman SUBEB, Comrade Joseph Utse, made the announcement Monday, December 19th, 2022 at the Board’s headquarters during a Management meeting with Education Secretaries.
Comrade Utse maintained that involvement of the Education Secretaries has become pertinent in order to ensure transparency and fairness in the recruitment and urged them to avoid segregation and nepotism.
He mandated the Education Secretaries to liaise with Local Government Chairmen to ensure a level playing ground for the exercise.
In his remarks, the Board Secretary, Mr Alexander Tsaga (KSM) affirmed that the exercise will be carried out at the level of LGEAs thereby making the whole process under close monitoring of Education Secretaries.
He added that the SUBEB headquarters shall release a three man Committee to every Local Government Education Authority Tuesday 20th December, 2022 who will assist the Local Government supervisors that shall be drawn from Admin. department, Quality Assurance department and Academic Services.
Mr. Tsaga also announced that Permanent members of various zones shall oversee the recruitment processes at their respective zones while all Local Government Chairmen shall send representatives who will be observers, adding that SUBEB Officials are to educate the supervisors and Education Secretaries on how to go about the process.
The Board Secretary also disclosed that a list of all the shortlisted applicants shall be given to the Education Secretaries who will paste at the LGEA offices.
Permanent Members at the Board Hon.Mike kusah, Barrister Emoh Adoga and James Ahua cautioned the Education Secretaries not to ascribe ownership of the recruitment hence the process is going to be non political and only qualified candidates will be considered.
Education Secretary of Vandeikya, Mr Adagba Gabriel who spoke on behalf of Education Secretaries appreciated the board for intimating and incorporating them into the exercise. He promised total compliance, assuring that they will work closely with the Local Government Chairmen.
