ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
Candidates must possess:
- Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at maximum of two sittings;
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University not lower than Third Class; or
iii. Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) in an area not related to the field applying for may be considered; and
- Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Merit in related field of study from a Polytechnic or any recognized institution.
- Academic Master Degree Programmes
Candidates must possess:
- Five credit passes includingEnglish Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a
maximum of two sittings;
- First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field
with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
iii. A Candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma with a CGPA of not less than 3.50.
- Professional Master Degree Programmes
Candidates must possess:
- Five credit passes includingEnglish Languageand Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a maximum of two sittings;
- First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
iii. A candidate with a Third Class Degree or HND and a Postgraduate Diploma from Kaduna State University or any recognized institution with a CGPA of not less than 3.50
- Doctor of Philosophy Programmes
Candidates must possess:
- Five credit passes includingEnglish Languageand Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a
maximum of two sittings;
- First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field
with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
iii. Masters Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in the proposed
field of study with minimum CGPA of 3.50.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested candidates for all the Postgraduate Programmes should log on to the Kaduna State University Portal: forms.kasu.edu.ng and click on the School of Postgraduate Studies button and follow the procedures below:
- Begin your application by creating a Profile; a Username and Password would be sent to your e-mail
- Continue your Registration by login with your Profile details
- Fill the Application Form,
Print the completed Application Form and submit in the Postgraduate School. Only candidates who submit their document will be considered for admission and registration.
- Please note that the University will not enter into correspondence on its decision with any candidate.
- Candidates offered provisional admission will be required to produce transcripts of academic record and originals of their credentials at the point of registration.
CLOSING DATE
Forms must be completed and submitted on or before Friday 11th October, 2019. Applicants are encouraged to submit copies of the Application Forms and Transcripts of Academic Record to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Kaduna State University, Kaduna.

There will be no extension of closing date.
