KADUNA POLYTECHNIC 2019/2020 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

 

This is to inform all candidates who applied for National Diploma (ND), NCE and B.Ed (Tech)/B.Sc Programmes in the 2019 JAMB admission and chose Kaduna Polytechnic as FIRST CHOICE with the following UTME scores, are hereby requested to pay and register for the POST UTME screening exercise.

THE POST-UTME SCREENING
1. The Post UTME Screening is for those that had the following scores in the 2019
(UTME)
(i) 120 and above for ND Programmes
(ii) 100 and above for NCE Programmes
(iii) 180 and above for B.Ed (Tech) programmes in affiliation with Federal
University of Technology, Minna,
(iv) 180 and above for BSc in the following programmes in affiliation with
Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria:

  • Architecture
  • Building
  • Urban & Regional Planning
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  •  Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

2. Such candidates must have indicated Kaduna Polytechnic as their First Choice Institution.

3. Candidates that indicated interests in Kaduna Polytechnic as their 2nd Choice and 3rd Choice are advised to change to First Choice.
4. Candidates within Kaduna Metropolis can come to Kaduna Polytechnic ICT Centre for ease of on-line Registration, subject to the payment of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira Only) as directed by JAMB.

5. The payment is to be made through KadPoly website at KadPoly Microfinance Bank or any Commercial bank upon presentation of Remitta generated from the site.
6. Only candidates that participate in the Screening Exercise will be considered for
admission into Kaduna Polytechnic.
The Screening Exercise commences on 4
th July, 2019.
7. Candidates who applied for admission are STRONGLY advised to upload their
SSCE/NECO/NABTEB results to JAMB website (CAPS), at any nearest JAMB
Accredited CBT Centre. Failure to do so would deny candidates admission.

HOW TO FILL THE ONLINE POST UTME SCREENING FORM

  • Visit www.kadunapolytechnic.edu.ng
  • Goto the Portals menu and select “PostUTME Screening Portal
  • Follow the instructions and the steps on the page to fill your online screening form.

APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: Application should be made not LATER THAN 30th July, 2019 when the portal for admission shall be closed.

Candidates with Polytechnic Diploma,
University Diploma, IJMB, First Degree or
National Diploma may be considered for Direct
Admission into appropriate National Diploma
Programmes.
Pre NCE
1. Admission Requirements
1.1 Pre NCE (Technical)
SSC/NTC with at least three credits and
two passes in not more than two sittings.

The credits must include English
Language and Physics and any other
Science subject or TCII with
credits/merits in the said subjects.
1.2 Pre NCE (Special Needs)
SSC/NTC/NBC with at least three
credits and two passes in not more than
two sittings. The credits must include
English Language and any two from
History, Government, Biology,
Chemistry or Agricultural Science or
TCII with credits/merits in the said
subjects.
2. Transition to NCE
At the end of the two semesters,
students are to proceed to the respective
NCE programmes provided they
obtained a CGPA of 1.50 and scored the
minimum Cut-Off Point at the JAMB
UTME. They are however, exempted
from Post UTME.
